The size and height of this nightstand is good for the $50 dollar price tag. For the original price tag, I do think this would require a more stable foundation and stronger shelf materials and not just cloth and a flat cheddar wooden board for the inside of the cloth cover for the shelf. The top wooden board width is okay if you are planning to put a minimum amounts of stuff on top of the board. As the very small wooden board on top is made from the same type of wood, the metal bar is durable enough to handle some weight. Overall, easy assemble and function according to what it was meant for.
