I could not expect that the hero would turn out to be such a way that he is after meeting her. With everything happening so far, the twist the author put in is quite unexpected. It was more than just his quirkiness that was mentioned; it was something else that was tied to his past that made him who he is. This volume was a really good buildup with so much unexpected information being shared. The way it was portrayed and the depth that was put into the hero's past is really well done. It is just how the author will make sure that the new girl that is introduced into the series stays in the series like the rest of the girls.
